Ford of Canada runs three Ford special programs that most buyers walk past without ever hearing about, because nobody advertises them on a billboard. Each is worth up to $1,000, and one of them can be combined with Ford Employee Pricing.
If you are a newcomer to Canada, you graduated in the last two years, or you have never bought a vehicle before, one of these probably applies to you.
The three Ford special programs
Who it is for: People who have never financed or leased a vehicle in Canada.
No established Canadian credit history is required. You need to live in Canada and hold a Permanent Resident Card, a Work Permit or a Study Permit, and have stable income.
Who it is for: Recent graduates of an accredited Canadian institution.
You must have graduated within the last 24 months, or be graduating within the next 4 months. Covers university undergraduate, a two-year college program of at least 48 weeks, a three-year CEGEP D.E.C. in Quebec, a recognised military or police academy, and full-time Master’s, Doctorate or PhD programs.
Who it is for: People who have never bought a vehicle before.
Ford states qualified customers may be eligible for up to $1,000. Fewer published conditions than the other two — worth asking about even if you are unsure.

One of them combines with Employee Pricing
This is the part worth understanding. Ford’s Employee Pricing FAQ states that its special incentive programs for newcomers, new graduates and first-time buyers are combinable with Ford Employee Pricing. You can apply one of them — they do not stack with each other.
So the employee price is not the floor. If you qualify for one of these, you go below it — which means you can end up paying less than a Ford employee does.
Why nobody knows about them
They are not seasonal campaigns, so they never get a television ad or a banner across a website. They live on Ford Credit pages that people only find if they already know to look, and they are usually raised at the desk near the end of a deal — if at all.
How to find out if one applies to you
Read the eligibility on Ford’s own pages, then talk to us before you commit to anything. Eligibility is confirmed by Ford, not by us, so the honest sequence is: check the criteria, ask us to verify, then decide.
Bring what proves it — a PR card, work or study permit, or your graduation date. It saves a second trip.
Common questions
How much are the Ford special programs worth?
Each of the three — Newcomer, Graduate and First-Time Buyer — is worth up to $1,000 from Ford of Canada. The exact amount depends on the vehicle and the program conditions at the time.
Can I combine one with Employee Pricing?
Yes — one of them. Ford’s Employee Pricing FAQ states these programs are combinable with Ford Employee Pricing, and the incentive comes off after the employee price. They do not stack with one another, so you apply whichever one you qualify for.
Do I need Canadian credit history for the Newcomer Program?
No. Ford states no established Canadian credit history is required. If you do have credit in Canada, the accounts need to be in good standing with no past-due payments or bankruptcy.
I graduated three years ago. Do I still qualify?
No. The Graduate Program covers graduation within the last 24 months, or graduation within the next 4 months. Outside that window you would need to look at the other programs.
Ask before you sign anything

If you think one of these might apply to you, say so early — it changes the numbers. We are at 4602 27th Street in Vernon and we would rather find you $1,000 than have you discover it afterwards.
