2022 Ford Explorer
Loaded with Confidence
Once you’re inside the Explorer, you’ll notice an array of available amenities. Interior attributes like tri-diamond perforated leather seating surfaces, a hexagon carbon-fibre-lined dash and a precision-engineered centre console with a rotary gear shift dial fill the cabin with a refined and dignified look.
A Trip in the Making
Load your gear into the 2021 Explorer and get away for a while. There’s plenty of room for it all. With the PowerFold® third-row seats, you can take advantage of the extra cargo space before heading out on your next big adventure. With the ability to tow up to 2,540 kg (5,600 lbs.), when properly equipped, the Explorer won’t be slowed down, not even if you have a hefty camper in tow. With your choice of three powerful engines, you can trust that your Explorer will get you where you need to go.
Master of the Day-to-Day
When you have to get things done, Explorer has your back. Available seating for up to seven means you can get your star player and friends to practice. The E-Z Entry second-row seats and available Cargo Management System make it easy to get passengers and their equipment in as quickly as possible.
Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and weight distribution.
Rear View Camera
The standard Rear View Camera provides a great view of what’s behind your vehicle. It also comes with a built-in washer so you can keep the camera lens free of debris (like snow or dust) and navigate in Reverse with confidence.
Towing and Trailer Sway Control
Building on Advance Trac with RSC® (Roll Stability ControlTM), standard Trailer Sway Control selectively brakes and adjusts engine power to maintain trailer control. The result is stability and control, even when towing large loads. When properly equipped, the Ford Explorer can tow up to 5,600 lbs. The Class IV Trailer Tow Package is available with the 2.3L EcoBoost® and 3.3L Hybrid Engines and comes standard with the 3.0L EcoBoost Engine.
Remember that even advanced technology cannot overcome the laws of physics. It’s always possible to lose control of a vehicle due to inappropriate driver input for the conditions.
